Sunday, April 19 at Mugello Circuit, organized by PNK Motorsport, was entirely dedicated to on-track action, with a packed schedule featuring multiple categories, all delivering a high level of competition and excitement.
The day opened with the Young Timer Touring Cup, where Federico Borrett took the win driving a BMW M3 E1. Sergio Galbusera (TAC Motorsport) followed in second place with a Lotus Elise Cup, while Rino De Luca (Vimotorsport) completed the podium in third with his Honda Civic.
The spotlight then shifted to the National GT Challenge, bringing high-performance cars and intense battles on track. In GT Cup 2, victory went to R. Romagnoli and E. Marchetti (Best Lap) in a Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo, ahead of M. Squillaci and E. Romani (Cars Racing) in a Porsche 992 GT3 Cup, and L. Ferrari and L. Megna (Formula Racing), third in another Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo.
In GT Cup 1, P. Alessi and F. Danova (SF Squadra Corse) claimed the win in a Lamborghini Huracán ST Evo2. Second place went to G. Torrelli and D. Gaggianesi (Rangoni Corse), followed by A. Brigatti and S. Conti (Lema Racing), both crews competing in Lamborghini Huracán ST Evo2 cars.
The GT3 class saw M. Maglioccola and B. Strignano (Scuderia Vesuvio) take victory with a Lamborghini Huracán GT3. M. Pitorri and G. Simonelli (Best Lap) secured second place in a Ferrari 488 GT3, while A. Ambrosio and P. Pastore, also representing Scuderia Vesuvio, completed the podium in third with another Lamborghini Huracán GT3.
Next up was the RS Cup, where Andrea Bonifazi (Seven Hills Motorsport) took the win, followed by Fulvio Casciandrini (MC Motortecnica) in second and Riccardo Rogari (Black Cars) in third.
The day concluded with the Coppa Clio Italia, with Alex Lancellotti (Rangoni Corse) taking victory ahead of Francesco Pagano (Pagano Corse) and Cristian Ricciarini (Faro Racing).
A full day of racing that once again highlighted the quality of PNK Motorsport’s events, capable of showcasing a wide range of categories while delivering an engaging and complete spectacle for fans.
The weekend at Mugello Circuit thus came to a close with a strong focus on performance, technical variety and great participation from teams, drivers and enthusiasts alike.
